Sold my motorbike today.
She wasn’t getting much use and was awkward to park in my garage since 1UI6II arrived. I’m getting my “fun vehicle” kicks out of learning to fly nowadays, so she had to go.
Had been trying to sell her for a while, listing on bikesales.com.au just before the current lockdown started. Got screwed around a lot until out of the blue I got an email from the dealer I bought her off new, asking if I was looking to sell as they were desperate for second-hand stock. A quick cycle of “shrewd negotiation” later, a price was agreed upon, and a date for collection set.
I do hope to have another motorbike one day. Maybe it’s finally time to buy that postie bike…
